Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
- 3 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
Method:
In a small sauce pot, combine blueberries, water, maple syrup, lemon juice and salt. Stir well. Cook over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring every few minutes. When the compote is done cooking, the blueberries should be broken down and the compote should coat the back of a spoon. Serve warm and store in the fridge.
